This year I am starting a new holiday tradition: making my own set of postcards for x-mas mailings, using pen and watercolor. My late Great Aunt Charlotte, a well-known artist on Cushing’s, used to do this every year, but hers were always island landscapes. My parents saved all her postcards, which I think date back to 1981. She lived until age 94.
